AOL's Global Agency Development Team Expands, Adding World Class Leaders in UK and US Markets

Jack Bamberger Promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Head
of Agency Development

June 9, 2014, New York and London - AOL (NYSE: AOL) today announced the hiring of two senior industry leaders to AOL's Global Agency Development Team, James Harris in the UK and Lisa (Kasting) Ierardi in the US. The global agency development team, comprised of world class talent and led by industry veteran Jack Bamberger, operates across 18 countries and 6 continents focused on creating enterprise technology platform partnerships, enterprise content partnerships and global commercial agreements that enable agencies and their clients to fully leverage AOL's entire media and technology stack at scale.

In the UK, James Harris has been appointed Agency Lead, International. In this newly created role, Harris will be responsible for the strategic growth of AOL revenue across all agency holding companies in the UK and EMEA. Based in London, Harris will report to Graham Moysey, Head of International and Jack Bamberger, Senior Vice President, Global Head of Agency Development.

With over 20 year's experience in media and advertising, Harris joins AOL from IPG Mediabrands, where he held the role of Chief Digital Officer and Managing Director of Digital Services EMEA, delivering consistent year-on-year growth for the business. Prior to IPG Mediabrands, Harris was Chief Digital Officer at Universal McCann EMEA and Founder and Managing Director of Aegis Media Labs, the specialist digital division within Aegis Media.

"With a wealth of experience to draw on, James is widely considered to be one of the best in the business and we are thrilled that he's joining AOL in this new role," said Graham Moysey, Head of International, AOL, "His digital expertise and proven track record of forging highly successful client relationships make him the perfect AOL ambassador in Europe. He will be instrumental in continuing our growth trajectory through the creation of innovative media, technology and strategic partnership solutions."

In the US, Lisa (Kasting) Ierardi joins AOL as Agency Lead, IPG, reporting to the Global Head of Agency Development, IPG, Rob Middleton. She will be responsible for further deepening AOL's partnership with IPG agencies, and will focus on growing mutual success through programmatic, video and custom content solutions.

(Kasting) Ierardi joins AOL from Microsoft Advertising where she was Global Agency Director and managed global agency relationships, developed global partnership programs and addressed top agency challenges with new innovation ideas and programs. Prior to Microsoft Advertising, (Kasting) Ierardi spent her entire career in agency leadership roles as Group Account Director at Atmosphere Proximity/BBDO and Business Director at JWT.

The expansion of the agency team comes on the heels of Jack Bamberger's promotion from Head of Agency and Industry Relations, to Senior Vice President, Global Head of Agency Development. Bamberger reports to Jim Norton, Global Head of Media Sales.

Since joining AOL, Bamberger has built a global team that represents the agency-publisher relationship of the future, further solidifying AOL's commitment to global platform and content partnerships. In his new role, Bamberger will lead AOL's global initiative to grow and deepen agency relationships, and drive innovation and thought leadership across the industry. He will continue to be focused on creating enterprise content, technology platform partnerships and global commercial agreements that enable agencies to fully leverage AOL's entire media and technology stack at scale.

"As AOL continues to invest in video, premium content, and platforms, the agency development team will be at the forefront of connecting our agency partners to unique opportunities for their clients," said Jim Norton, Global Head of Media Sales.
