AOL Canada Launches New Homepage

AOL CanadaAOL launched a new portal in Canada -- AOL.ca -- that provides access to third-party e-mail accounts and social networking services, among other improvements. AOL Canada Senior Director Edward Kwan said the launch in Canada "follows the tremendous successes we’ve experienced in both the U.S. and the UK, enabling exciting new opportunities for the Canadian market."

AIM Apps Now Support Push Notifications

AIM AppUsers of the AIM iPhone apps can get alerts when a new IM arrives, even if they’re doing other things on their iPhone. The new push notifications feature comes as part of the iPhone’s new 3.0 operating software. Read more about the benefits of this to AIM users on the AOL iBlog.
