AOL Debuts New Morning Show 'AOL Daybreak'

"AOL Daybreak" Host Lindsay Campbell & Ben Silverman's Electus Set Out to Redefine Morning Show Format on Web

New York, NY – November 15, 2010 – AOL Inc. (NYSE: AOL) today unveiled a new morning show, "AOL Daybreak," on its flagship AOL.com home page. "AOL Daybreak," a morning news roundup with a lighthearted take on recent headlines, debuts today to an audience of 15 million Americans* who visit AOL.com, instantly making it one of the nation's most visible programs. The daily video piece, created in partnership with Electus, Ben Silverman's next generation multimedia studio and operating business of IAC (NASDAQ:IACI), is produced by television and web veterans and hosted by Lindsay Campbell.

"AOL Daybreak" joins new video hits, "You've Got" and "The One", on the recently relaunched AOL.com. These shows are part of AOL's strategy to create engaging, high-quality video experiences for its media-savvy users. The "AOL Daybreak" debut shows Lindsay hitting the streets talking directly with people about what they want in a morning show. The episode includes the first in a series of surprise guests weighing in with expert advice.

"On any given day AOL.com has a larger audience than most television networks. We want to provide our audience with the most engaging, informative and entertaining content on the Internet and 'AOL Daybreak' delivers. It's made specifically for the web, features high quality video, provides timely information and has a unique voice and personality in Lindsay Campbell," said David Eun, President of AOL Media and Studios.

Electus founder and CEO, Ben Silverman added, "We are thrilled to partner with AOL on the next generation of morning news. Lindsay Campbell's fun and contemporary point of view will resonate with approachable content in a dynamic medium. The show will deliver for the consumer who is seeking out more and more information and video online."

Lindsay Campbell, host of "AOL Daybreak" is best known for her work hosting the humorous financial web series Wallstrip (acquired by CBS in 2007) and for co-creating the groundbreaking news and politics web series MobLogic shortly thereafter.

"I am looking forward to taking a fresh approach to the morning show format, informing and entertaining our audience in equal measure," said Campbell. "AOL is essentially synonymous with the web for so many people and it's a pleasure and a privilege to reach such a large audience, right out of the gate."

"AOL Daybreak" is produced by network-TV veteran, Diane Masciale in conjunction with Adam Eland and Jeff Marks. Masciale, Senior Executive Producer of "AOL Daybreak," is a seasoned news executive having last served as Executive Editor of ABC's "Good Morning America" and Executive Producer in the ABC Long Form Unit. Previously, she was Acting Executive Producer and Senior Broadcast Producer at NBC's "Today Show" as well as Senior Broadcast Producer at "Dateline NBC." Masciale has won three national Emmy awards and has traveled the world chasing news.

Adam Elend and Jeff Marks have been active in the web video space since 2005. In 2007, they sold their web video start-up Wallstrip to the CBS Corp and joined the network's interactive division full time as Executive Producers. As Executive Producers of "AOL Daybreak" they hope to reinvent the TV morning show format into something fresh and dynamic on the web.
