Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program

AOL is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship, and reaches out to business partners, particularly suppliers, to help the company achieve its environmental goals. In addition to purchasing its own "green" products -- such as recycled paper for office use, 100% recycled paper for kitchen and restroom facilities, carpet, office furnishings, paint, cleaning products and more -- AOL also has a program to evaluate its supply chain's environmental footprint. This Environmentally Preferable Purchasing program evaluates significant providers of both goods and services to AOL. AOL actively seeks out vendors and suppliers who demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

In addition, AOL is committed to ensuring the inclusion of minority and women-owned companies for competitive opportunities in the procurement of goods and services.
