IKEA US chose AOL Advertising to design and execute a display advertising campaign. In collaboration with Mediaedge:cia, IKEA's media agency of record, AOL will create and launch an engaging microsite that includes room planning guides, IKEA shopping lists, sweepstakes and contests. AOL Home will also produce special sections with information and expert advice.

AOL launched women's lifestyle site That's Fit in the U.S. and Canada. Localized for each country, the site is a one-stop resource offering health and fitness news, expert advice and other new features. That’s Fit is part of the AOL Living network of sites.
Brad Garlinghouse to Head AOL’s Internet and Mobile Communications

AOL named Brad Garlinghouse as President of Internet and Mobile Communications, spearheading AOL’s global efforts to expand the reach of its e-mail and instant messaging. Garlinghouse will also take on an expanded leadership position for the company, heading up AOL’s Silicon Valley operations from its Mountain View campus and serving as the West Coast lead for AOL Ventures, the company’s venture capital arm headed globally by Jon Brod. Garlinghouse was most recently at Silver Lake Partners as an in-house Senior Advisor.
Arthur Minson Named AOL's CFO

AOL appointed Arthur Minson as the company's new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He joins AOL from Time Warner Cable, where he has served as Executive Vice President and Deputy CFO and helped manage that company's separation from Time Warner. Prior to his role at Time Warner Cable, Minson led AOL's Corporate Finance and Development activities.
