Platform-A's Mark Ellis Promoted to EVP of Sales

Platform-A logoMark Ellis has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales for Platform-A, where he will lead the business' efforts to expand its digital ad sales efforts, increase and improve the sales force and fully leverage Platform-A's reach and suite of technologies. AOL Donates Computer Lab to St. Jude

St. Jude Computer LabAOL donated a mobile computer lab to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The AOL Connections Lab includes 20 mobile laptop carts that fit over hospital beds and wheelchairs. David Cole, Senior Vice President of Technology Support Services, said "AOL is proud to support the work of St. Jude, one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers." Third Screen MediaThird Screen Media introduced "Rich Media Everywhere" -- a new solution that lets advertisers run rich media campaigns across all mobile devices, browsers and applications. Eric Bosco, Platform-A's Senior Vice President of Operations and Product Management, said "until now, advertisers who wanted rich ad content were forced to develop ads device-by-device. Now, they can standardize dynamic ads across multiple publishers and devices with no programming at all."

 
 

AOL Radio iPhone App Hits 3.5 Million Downloads

AOL Radio iPhoneAOL Radio's iPhone application passed the 3.5 million downloads mark in March. The app, which launched in July 2008, is a Top 100 free iPhone app and won an Apple Design Award in 2008 for Best Entertainment Application.
