New Site Brings Together Buyers and Sellers on One of the Web’s Largest Classifieds Services
NEW YORK – February 23, 2009 – AOL announced the launch of AOL Classifieds, http://classifieds.aol.com, a new site that enables consumers to search through millions of local classifieds listings for every ZIP Code in the United States, as well as to post their own ads for free.
Developed in partnership with Oodle, which operates the largest network of classifieds services in the U.S., buyers can easily find the best deals with access to more than 40 million listings aggregated from more than 80,000 different sites. In addition, AOL Classifieds links consumers directly to classifieds listings on other properties within the AOL network including AOL Autos, AOL Jobs, AOL Personals, and AOL Real Estate.
AOL Classifieds also offers a compelling platform for sellers to promote their listings by leveraging the reach of Oodle's extensive network of more than 250 partner sites. Posting ads on AOL Classifieds is free.

New Features on MapQuest Local
MapQuest Local now offers two new ways to find locally-relevant content: a Twitter widget that lets users see what people are talking about in their city or town, and an AOL Careers widget that stores up to five different sets of keywords for job searches in a user’s area.
