Bangalore, 31 March 2008 – Aegis BPO Services, an Essar Group company, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire AOL’s call centre operations in Bangalore, India. Under the terms of this agreement, Aegis will provide customer service and technical support to AOL customers. The acquisition, which is expected to close at the end of April 2008, enables Aegis to enhance its voice and non-voice offerings in the technology support space.

This is the eighth acquisition in the last two years by Aegis. The Company has successfully integrated and grown a diverse portfolio of practices across clients, segments and continents.

NEW YORK, NY, March 13, 2008 – AOL announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Bebo (http://www.bebo.com), a leading global social media network.  Together with its AIM and ICQ personal communications network, the acquisition will give AOL a premier position in the fast growing world of social media with a network of approximately 80 million unique users.

With a total membership of more than 40 million worldwide, Bebo is a global social media network which combines community, self-expression and entertainment to enable its users to consume, create, discover and share content. Bebo is one of the leading social networks in the UK, and is ranked number one in Ireland and New Zealand, and number three in the U.S. in terms of engagement. Its users are heavily engaged and view an average of 78 pages per usage day. Bebo has approximately 100 employees operating in offices in the UK, San Francisco and Austin, TX.

Mexico City, MX - February 21, 2008 - AOL today launched a dedicated Web destination in Mexico, http://www.aol.com.mx, which combines industry-leading safety features with free e-mail, instant messaging and localized content in Spanish. AOL has partnered with Alestra to provide distribution and Grupo Editorial Expansión for content. AOL also will leverage its worldwide distribution partnership with HP to deliver a co-branded local language portal and search solution for Mexico. AOL will continue to add content and features over the coming months.
