AOL Launches Video Portal Sites in Canada, India and Taiwan

New York, NY, May 22, 2008 – AOL today announced the next steps in its ambitious global expansion effort with the international launch of AOL Video, http://video.aol.com. The new offerings will let consumers find and watch millions of videos in Canada, India and Taiwan at http://video.aol.ca, http://videoportal.aol.in, http://videoportal.aol.tw, respectively, without having to visit multiple websites. Additional plans are underway to launch video portals in the United Kingdom, France and Germany in the fall. The portal launches build on the success of the international launch of the Truveo video search engine, which recently unveiled sites in Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, The Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey and United Kingdom.

NEW YORK, NY, May 19, 2008 – AOL announced that it has completed its acquisition of Bebo, a global social media network that will form the centerpiece of AOL's newly created People Networks business unit. Bebo's CEO Joanna Shields will serve as Executive Vice President of AOL and President of People Networks, which combines Bebo, AIM, ICQ and AOL's other community platforms and reaches about 80 million users worldwide.* Shields will report to AOL President and COO Ron Grant.

Hamburg, 3 April 2008 - AOL has just been named “most trusted Internet brand” for the eighth consecutive year in the “Reader’s Digest European Trusted Brands 2008,” Europe’s biggest brand and consumer survey.

The company received especially high scores for product quality. During the past year, AOL invested in its products, among other things powerfully extending its free e-mail offering, AOL Search and the content on the AOL portal (www.aol.de ).
