New York, NY - March 12, 2009 - Tim Armstrong, Google Senior Vice President, has been named Chairman and CEO of AOL, LLC, Time Warner Inc. (NYSE:TWX) Chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes announced today. Current AOL Chairman and CEO Randy Falco and President and COO Ron Grant plan to leave the company after a transition period.
AOL Named a Finalist for Green Enterprise IT Award

The Uptime Institute named AOL a finalist for its 2009 Green Enterprise IT Awards in the category of Data Center Energy Efficiency Improvement. Uptime is a research think-tank and advisor to owners and operators of the world's largest enterprise data centers. Winners will be announed at the 4th Annual Institute Research Symposium held in New York City from April 13-16, 2009. AOL also made the Uptime Institute's 2009 Global Green 100 list, which highlights global companies that have made significant energy efficiency achievements in their data centers.

AOL supported the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's® fifth-annual Thanks and Giving® campaign through an extensive promotional campaign across its network of sites. These efforts generated a total of $1.5 million to St. Jude in donations from AOL users, AOL employees, company matching grants, as well as in-kind promotions and ads on the AOL network.

New York, N.Y., March 3, 2009 – AOL announced today that its customers helped save the lives of children by generously donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® through its fifth-annual Thanks and Giving® campaign. AOL, whose users doubled the amount of money they donated year over year, mounted an extensive promotional campaign across its network of sites, generating more than 467 million media, editorial and promotional impressions during the Thanks and Giving campaign, a national awareness and fundraising initiative for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital that runs throughout the holiday season. AOL contributed a total of $1.5 million to St. Jude in donations from AOL users, AOL employees, company matching grants, as well as in-kind promotions and ads on the AOL network.
