AOL Launches Advertising Education Campaign

AOL launched its online advertising educational campaign that helps consumers better understand how behaviorally targeted advertising works.  AOL also launched a new privacy blog, PrivacyGourmet. The ad campaign and the blog are part of AOL's efforts to better inform consumers about online advertising practices and their choices.  
 
AOL also announced its support of the Network Advertising Initiative's (NAI) proposed self-regulatory code of conduct for the online advertising industry. The NAI is a cooperative of online marketing companies, including AOL, committed to building consumer awareness and establishing responsible business and data standards.
