AOL CANADA LAUNCHES STYLELIST.CA

A new Canadian destination for all the best in fashion, style & beauty inspiration

TORONTO, April 4, 2013 -- AOL Canada announced today the launch of StyleList.ca, an edgy, contemporary online destination for fashion, style and beauty, featuring Canadian-based content, celebrity guest editors and local contributors, all designed to inspire Canadians to look and feel their best.

The site launches with guest editor Joseph Mimran, creative director and founder of Joe Fresh, and will feature content from the well-known fashion expert. Mimran's contributions include a letter from the guest editor, and a list of his favourite things.

"We are excited to be adding new voices around style and beauty in Canada. In addition to our in-house editorial team, StyleList.ca features content from a network of Canadian-based fashion and beauty editors and bloggers, all of whom are thought of as experts in their field. This gives the site a unique and varied perspective and truly makes this site stand out from the crowd," said Rashida Jeeva, general manager of StyleList Canada.

The site will feature fashion, beauty and style articles and news coverage, tips and tricks to explore the latest trends and simplify style through StyleList's trademark "Selects" or lists, compelling photo galleries, video and more. Editorial for the site will be led by Canadian style and fashion editor Sarah Kelsey, formerly of The Huffington Post Canada Style, and also features additional content from the StyleList Canada Council, a collection of premier style and beauty bloggers from across the country.

At launch the site will feature:

· StyleList's Favourite Things: A video tribute from StyleList editor Sarah Kelsey
· StyleList Selects: Navigate lists of our favourite items, styles and tips
· Joseph Mimran's Letter from a Guest Editor
· Meet the Contributors: An introduction to the StyleList Canada Council
· International Beauty: Beauty secrets from around the world

The myriad of "style council contributors" include the likes of some of the most inspiring bloggers from across Canada including: Michelle Bilodeau and Rachelle Saevil of Front Row Mag, Jane Daly of Daly Beauty, Gloria Chik of UrbaneBloc, Cee Fardoe of Coco and Vera, Henna Singh of Canadian Beauty, Gracie Carroll of graciecarroll.com, and Alison Lawler-Dean of Gifted and many other talented Canadian bloggers.

StyleList Sites are ranked as the second most popular fashion/style/beauty sites in Canada*. With the launch of the Canadian edition, the site will bring forth great opportunity to drive and develop conversations around style and beauty topics that interest Canadian visitors most. It will also create premium opportunities for advertisers and brands to align with the influential female demographic found on AOL Lifestyle sites, now including StyleList.ca. StyleList.ca joins The Huffington Post Canada Style and The Huffington Post Canada Living among others in AOL Canada's robust lifestyle category, reaching a total of 2.3 million monthly unique visitors in Canada*.
