BRAD ELDERS RETURNS TO AOL TO LEAD EAST COAST SALES

New York, NY (May 2, 2012) – AOL today announced Brad Elders has rejoined the AOL Sales team as Senior Vice President, East Coast Sales. He will oversee sales, account management and marketing on the East Coast and will be responsible for building advertising solutions for major advertisers in New York, Boston, Atlanta, and across the eastern seaboard. He will be based in the New York office and will report to Jim Norton. His first day back at AOL will be May 14, 2012.

"I am thrilled to have Brad rejoin AOL as a part of the advertising leadership team, as we continue to build strategic marketing solutions for our partners and clients," said Jim Norton, Head of Sales, AOL. "Brad has deep industry knowledge and expertise in the marketplace – particularly in video – a strategic focus for AOL, and is a true thought leader in the digital industry."

"No company is more focused on content creation and distribution across platforms than AOL, and I couldn't be more excited to come back to be a part of it," said Elders. "With my diversified background and experience creating solutions that solve problems for marketers, I look forward to working with the AOL team to put the power of the AOL platform to work in new and unique ways for our clients."

With over 20 years of experience in media, Elders most recently served as Senior Vice President, Sales at Function(x), where he was responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy and building a national sales team to support Viggle, the company's recently launched Social Television Platform. Prior to Function(x), Elders served as the Vice President of Video Sales for AOL, through AOL's acquisition of 5min Media in September 2010. Prior to that role, Elders served as the Chief Operating Officer of TidalTV, a video advertising start-up, and also served as the SVP of North American sales for IPTV provider Joost. Earlier on in his career, Elders ran national sales for Massive Incorporated, a video game advertising pioneer (acquired by Microsoft) and built and led a new business development team at MTV Networks whose core mission was to diversify MTV's advertising business.

Elders is a frequent industry speaker on topics that include online video and emerging media platform monetization. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dartmouth College and resides in Darien, CT with his wife and three children.
