New York, NY – June 13, 2011 -- AOL Huffington Post Media Group, a leading source of news, opinion, entertainment, community and digital information, announces today that Michael Hogan, Executive Digital Editor of Vanity Fair, has been named Executive Features Editor of AOL Huffington Post Media Group and Editor-in-Chief of Moviefone and AOL TV. In these positions, Hogan will oversee the well-known entertainment brands and join the news, opinion and information network's senior editorial team. Arianna Huffington, President and Editor-in-Chief of AOL Huffington Post Media Group, made the announcement.

"Michael Hogan is one of the brightest talents in online media, and we're thrilled he's joining us," said Arianna Huffington. "Mike's sharp voice and cultural savvy are a perfect fit to make Moviefone and AOL TV top destinations for vibrant and thought-provoking coverage -- and he'll take them to the next level of engagement and community."

Said Michael Hogan: "I couldn't be more excited to join Arianna Huffington and her world-class team of editors, reporters, and developers. Over the past few years, I've watched in awe as they revolutionized online journalism, and I'm confident that together we can build Moviefone and AOL TV into essential destinations for TV and movie lovers everywhere. I'm also cautiously optimistic that I'll be able to persuade Russ 'Mr. Moviefone' Leatherman to record my outgoing voicemail message."
