Kiley is former president of the International Automotive Press Association and has written for a variety of publications, from Advertising Age to Popular Mechanics.

He has received several journalism awards and is the author of two books: Getting The Bugs Out: The Rise, Fall, and Comeback of Volkswagen in America and Driven: Inside BMW, The Most Admired car Company in the World, both published by John Wiley & Sons.
