Michael Manos Joins AOL as Senior Vice President, Technology Operations

Dulles, VA – January 27, 2011 – He will be based in the company's Dulles office reporting to Alex Gounares, AOL's Chief Technology Officer. As part of the global technology leadership team, Manos will support the development of advances in operations and data center technologies for the company.

Michael Manos comes to AOL with over 17 years of experience in data center management, information technology platforms and large scale operations at leading companies around the country. Most recently, he was a vice president at Nokia where he was responsible for the global operations, consolidation and re-structuring of service operations for commercial-facing products and services. Prior to Nokia, Michael was a senior vice president for technical services at Digital Realty Trust where he oversaw the design, engineering, construction, and long term operation for the company's data center operations. He also held leadership positions at Microsoft, Walt Disney and Nuclio Corporation.
